About the event
THE WAIT IS OVER!
After 5 long years, Music 4 the Ppl (M4P) is BACK and we're ready to celebrate! Join us Friday, May 15th at Boyfriend Co-op starting at 8 PM for a night of live music, dancing, drinks, snacks, and so much more.
What is Music 4 the Ppl (M4P)?
M4P was born to do something powerful: bring activists, organizers, community members, and other system disruptors into the same space as BIPOC creatives; building a space where collective joy is centered. Where you dance, connect, and leave feeling more in relation with the people doing movement work alongside you. We believe that celebration, joy, and community are integral to keeping our movements flowing and our people in synergy and solidarity with one another.

Our Impact
From our very first M4P in 2021 — which helped Flatbush Mixtape build the Drip Coffee Lounge's community fridge — M4P has been about turning collective joy into tangible change. Through Earth Convergence, that spirit has grown into something powerful: $400k moved directly to historically marginalized communities, 4,880+ participants equipped with organizing and civic engagement skills, 76 trainings led by grassroots changemakers, and 9 hyperlocal BIPOC and LGBTQ+ partners supported year-round.
This year's M4P is also a fundraiser for Earth Convergence and the incredible ecosystem behind the annual Earth Month Convergence — the community members, grassroots organizations, and mutual aid funds who show up year after year, mostly on their own time and dime, because they believe in this work.
Your support, helps sustain this powerful space for. Thank you for being part of it! 💚
