Frontline communities in NYC—especially Black, Brown, Indigenous, and immigrant youth—are disproportionately impacted by environmental racism, climate anxiety, and shrinking access to public green space.
As a direct response to this, over the past four years, we have been transforming green space (public parks and community gardens) across the city to be able to host an event called the Earth Month Convergence (EMC)
By turning green spaces into living classrooms and catalysts for climate justice, cultural restoration, and community-oriented solutions, the EMC cultivates cultural shift, build movement infrastructure, and strengthen collective climate resilience.
